The top team at this year's Sailfish Challenge, Jichi
The Quest for the Crest race heats up going into the final tournament in April. Jichi had a great weekend of South Florida tournament fishing, winning the Sailfish Challenge tournament with 18 sailfish releases and tightening the race for the overall Quest for the Crest season championship. Sandman placed second in the tournament while Fish Tales rounded out the top three. Seraphim was fourth and Lion’s Den placed fifth. The Sailfish Challenge is unique in that teams can check in to three different inlets—Miami’s Government Cut, Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach or Lake Worth Inlet in West Palm Beach—giving teams additional flexibility to locate sailfish up and down the coast.
